The younger end took a trip to the ocean in STEM today. We learned about sharks and played in a “coral” reef made from water beads. It was a swimmingly good time. πŸ¦ˆπŸ πŸŒŠπŸš

Thank you MToxins Venom Lab! Our School Age Classroom had a great time exploring the animals and seeing a venom extraction.

Everyone on the younger end enjoyed exploring lemons, oobleck, and the easy chemical reaction of lemon juice (acid) with baking soda (base) for STEM today! πŸ§ͺ πŸ‹

Rangers and School Agers enjoyed a trip to Dairy Queen

The Hoppers, Snappers, Sparklers, and Rangers all enjoyed learning about soil and checking up on their garden today. We discovered that soil can come in different colors and textures! Who doesn’t love playing in the dirt for a bit?

Everyone enjoyed eating the strawberries they worked so hard to pick!! Summer snacks sure are tasty πŸ˜‹πŸ“

Sidewalk art in the neighborhood = happiness all around!
“Walk Wednesday” brought us to Two Brothers for some refreshing, tasty, ice cream – great way to break up the week!!
The kiddos had fun today creating an obstacle course with pool noodles.
Summer Camp and Rangers enjoyed a walk to OshPop yesterday for some buttery and cheesy popcorn – lots of happy campers here at Davis!
The Summer Camp kids learned about spines yesterday and even made a candy spine to help learn about all the parts and how it works!                                                                     
Summer Camp kiddos had a great time mini golfing yesterday – several of them even got a hole-in-one!
